Description
C S Lewis Nature Reserve is a charming 3-hectare nature reserve in Headington, a suburb of Oxford.
This magical corner, once owned by the author of 'The Chronicles of Narnia,' is said to have inspired C.S. Lewis while writing his famous series of books.
The reserve offers a picturesque pond (a former Victorian clay mine) and a lush forest with a variety of tree species. In spring you can watch the migration of toads, and in summer there are fascinating displays of dragonflies and meadowflies. It's the perfect place for a quiet walk and contact with nature, where children can build shelters and explore nature.
