Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden in Düsseldorf is a green oasis with more than 6,000 plant species from around the world. The futuristic 18-meter-high greenhouse is a distinctive landmark of the place.

In addition to an extensive plant collection, the garden offers themed corners representing different regions of the world - from South Africa to North America. It's also home to diverse fauna, including kingfishers, otters, herons and squirrels.

A curiosity is Lucy, a black cat known as the 'Campus Cat,' which has become a local attraction. The garden also serves as an educational space for Heinrich Heine University students and researchers.
