Botanic Park

Botanic Park is a green oasis in the heart of Timisoara, covering an impressive 84,100 square meters. This second-largest park in the city impresses with a variety of more than 200 plant species, carefully divided into thematic sectors.

The park has a rich history dating back to the 1870s, and owes its current appearance to a 1966 design. It underwent an upgrade in 2008, adding a Japanese tea house and a red wooden bridge.

This place combines scientific, teaching and recreational functions, offering a unique opportunity to admire flora from different corners of the world, including ornamental and medicinal plants.
