Bay Road Park Local Nature Reserve

Bay Road Park Local Nature Reserve is a 20-acre nature reserve located on the banks of the River Foyle in Londonderry.

Converted from a former landfill site, this unique area now offers scenic views of the Foyle Bridge and the city.

The site is home to a variety of wildlife - otters, bats and numerous bird species can be found here, including six of Northern Ireland's priority species. An ideal place for a relaxing walk, wildlife watching or an energizing jog surrounded by nature.
