Description
National Trust - Sugarloaf and Usk Valley is a unique natural area located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales.
Sugarloaf Mountain (596 meters above sea level) offers spectacular panoramic views of South Wales and southwest England. It's a nature lover's paradise, with abundant wildlife including larks, swallows, buzzards and the occasional red kite.
The area also delights in its historic heritage - an 18th-century landscaped park, the prehistoric Coed y Bwnydd Fort and the medieval deer park Parc Lodge Farm, whose enclosure is one of the best preserved in Wales.
