Description
The Archipelago Sea National Park is a unique area in southwestern Finland, encompassing some 2,000 islets and rocks formed during the last ice age.
It is a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers - the removal of mink in the 1990s resulted in a significant increase in the population of 14 bird species.
The park protects not only natural landscapes, but also cultural heritage, including traditional agricultural areas. You can roam freely by boat, pick berries and mushrooms, dive on designated trails or simply enjoy the unique landscapes of the archipelago.
