Park Narodowy Gór Rodniańskich

Rhodna Mountains National Park is a true paradise for mountain hikers and wildlife lovers. Located in Romania's Eastern Carpathian Mountains, it offers breathtaking views from the highest peaks exceeding 2,000 meters above sea level, including Pietrosul (2303 meters).

This unique place impresses with its diversity of flora and fauna - more than 1,100 species of vascular plants, including rare and endangered species. The area has been protected since the 1930s, and was listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1979.
