Description
Bieszczady National Park is a true paradise for lovers of wildlife and mountain hiking.
Poland's third largest national park impresses with its virgin beech forests, which cover about 80% of its area. Here you can meet rare animal species such as brown bears, gray wolves, wildcats and European bison.
More than 150 kilometers of marked trails lead through scenic highlands, offering breathtaking views. The highest peak, Tarnica (1346 meters above sea level), provides a challenge for more experienced hikers.
