avatarMahdiyeh Zamankhanpoura month agoVisiting the Oman Museum was a truly enriching and enjoyable experience. The museum is beautifully designed, both architecturally and in the way exhibits are presented. Each section takes you on a journey through different parts of Oman’s rich history—from ancient civilizations to modern developments—offering a well-curated glimpse into the country’s heritage, culture, and achievements. What stood out to me most was the thoughtful and engaging layout of the exhibits. Artifacts, visuals, and multimedia elements are displayed in a way that’s easy to follow, yet informative and captivating. It felt immersive without being overwhelming. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their friendliness added to the overall positive atmosphere of the museum. It was also a nice surprise to have access to free internet throughout the visit, which made it convenient to look up more information or share the experience in real time. Another great feature is that photography is allowed, which meant I could capture and keep memories of some of my favorite displays. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking to understand more about Oman’s identity, this museum is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for visitors of all ages.
avatarPanos Panagopoulos4 months agoYou see the history and the epochs of Oman It’s a meditative and relaxing environment The Omanis are so kind and welcoming- friendly and polite For sure you need to see the film ( all about Oman history) in the small cinema inside and also in Arabic language- even if you don’t understand, it worth to listen this amazing sound- I’m sure you will love as I did.

The stunning building houses beautifully preserved artifacts, from ancient manuscripts to intricate jewelry and weapons. I especially loved the collection of old musical instruments, offering a glimpse into Oman’s artistic traditions. The exhibits are well-organized and interactive, making history come alive. Even if you're not a history buff, it's a fascinating place to explore. Highly recommend!
