Muzeum Ziemi Cieszyńskiej

The Museum of the Těšín Region is a fascinating place where the region's history comes to life at your fingertips. Founded in 1948 by teacher Ladislav Báča, it offers a wealth of exhibits from prehistory to the end of World War II.

The museum features exhibitions such as 'Gothic and Renaissance Art' and 'At the Crossroads of History and Cultures.' The facility has also been publishing the magazine 'Těšínsko' since 1957, a valuable source of knowledge about the region.

As the easternmost professional museum in the Czech Republic, it cooperates with Polish cultural institutions, creating a unique bridge between cultures.
