Description
The Delphi Archaeological Museum is a treasure trove of ancient artifacts related to the history of the sanctuary and the Oracle of Delphi.
The 14 galleries chronologically display priceless artifacts, including votive offerings to Apollo, the famous omphalos (considered by the ancient Greeks to be the navel of the world), statues of the brothers Kleobis and Biton, the Sphinx of Naxos and the bronze statue of the Coachman.
It's a fascinating journey through history, from prehistoric times to late antiquity, perfect for lovers of ancient Greek culture.
