St. Elisabeth-Kirche - Museo Multscher is a unique combination of Baroque chapel and Gothic art museum in one historical complex.
In the museum you can admire Hans Multscher's masterpiece - a late Gothic altarpiece from 1456-1459, depicting scenes from the life of Mary and the Passion of Christ. St. Elisabeth's Chapel, built between 1729 and 1733, impresses with its octagonal plan and dome frescoes by Matthäus Günther.
The entire complex, formerly owned by the Teutonic Order, is a fascinating journey through the history and art of South Tyrol.
