Muzeum Sisi w Wiedniu

The Sisi Museum in Vienna is a fascinating journey into the life of Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria, known as Sisi. More than 300 personal items, including gowns, umbrellas and beauty paraphernalia, provide insight into the intimate details of her daily life.

In the museum you'll see reconstructions of her wedding dress, Hungarian coronation attire and mourning jewelry. Particularly impressive are her death mask and the black coat with heron feathers she wore after her assassination.
