Description
The Katyn Museum is a unique place dedicated to the memory of the victims of the 1940 Katyn massacre.
It houses some 5500 authentic artifacts excavated from mass graves, photographs, archives and biographies of the victims.
The exhibition begins at the Appeal Square in Warsaw Citadel Park, where 90 trees arranged in rows symbolize the soldiers standing guard. The centerpiece is an oak cross - a symbol of the victims' martyrdom.
The museum offers audio guides and the free MOVI GUIDE app to enhance the visiting experience.
