Description

Museo Lagomar is an extraordinary architectural complex built into a volcanic rock in Nazareth, Lanzarote.

This place combines the traditional architecture of the island with Arabic elements to create a fascinating space full of winding corridors and caves.

Associated with the legend of Omar Sharif, who is said to have lost the estate in a party of cards, the museum offers a small art gallery, a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and La Cueva bar.

The maze of tunnels, stone paths and lush plantings contrasting with the white walls are the work of César Manrique's vision, making this place a paradise for photography and art lovers.
