MNK Sukiennice is a jewel of Polish culture in the heart of Krakow's Main Square.
The gallery presents the largest permanent exhibition of Polish painting and sculpture of the 19th century, with works by such masters as Jan Matejko, Henryk Siemiradzki and Jacek Malczewski.
The unique interiors, divided into four thematic rooms - Bacciarelli's, Michalowski's, Siemiradzki's and Chelmoński's - allow one to trace the evolution of Polish art in different historical periods. An ideal place for art lovers and those wishing to learn about Polish cultural heritage.
