Zamek w Ptuju

The Ptuj Castle is one of Slovenia's finest castles, combining Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles. Located on a hilltop, it offers breathtaking views of Slovenia's oldest city.

The castle shelters the Ptuj-Ormož Regional Museum with impressive collections, including Slovenia's largest collection of historical musical instruments, 17th century Turkish art and tapestries depicting scenes from the Odyssey.

Of particular note is an ancient Roman flute (Tibia), to which the Romans attributed magical powers. This is a great place for history and culture lovers!
