Description
The Kazimierz Castle in Przemyśl is a Renaissance gem of defensive architecture, whose history dates back to the 14th century and the time of Casimir the Great.
Standing on Castle Hill, 270 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of the city and the San River.
Today, the castle is a cultural center with permanent exhibitions on Casimir the Great and the history of Przemyśl. In July and August, knight shows are held here, where you can learn sword and bow fighting.
In the courtyard you can see fragments of the Volodar Church, dating back to the time of Boleslav the Brave.
