Description
The Historic Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry is a unique UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the 90-minute tour, you can discover a fascinating labyrinth of underground passageways dating back to the 17th and 19th centuries, see the original mining chamber, and take a boat ride along a nearly 300-meter-long waterway that is part of the mine's unique drainage system.
An additional attraction is the Steam Machinery Park, with 31 exhibits, including locomotives and hoisting machines that show the technological development of mining. This is the perfect place for lovers of industrial history and unusual underground adventures!

Chiu Sashaa month agoA must-see! Friendly and helpful museum staff speak both English and Polish. Mines can be chilly so dress warmly. Taller visitors, be ready to duck and bend through some parts.
Our guide was professional and informative. The boat ride is incredible! Highly recommend. Beware of traffic, though; consider driving or a local taxi or bus as Ubers can be hard to find in the city.
Kristjan Renning11 months agoThe mine underground was a real mine. 10\10 for guide. You really feel like you’re a miner driping water, cold air, narrow gave system. When going there you really need a jacket because it’s pretty cold down there. I personally don’t recommend it to people with claustrophobia.
