Description
Surgeons' Hall Museums is one of the oldest museums in Scotland, founded in 1832. It has one of the largest pathology collections in the world, displaying preserved human tissues and organs.
The museum consists of three main parts: the Museum of Surgical History, the Wohl Museum of Pathology and the Dental Collection. Visitors can see a reconstructed anatomical theater and learn about the history of the famous Burke and Hare murders.
Please note: the exhibition contains graphic medical content and is not recommended for children under 10 years old.
