Styrian Armory

Styrian Armory is the largest historical armory in the world, located in Graz. This unique attraction impresses with its collection of some 32,000 artifacts, including armor, weapons and fighting tools from the 17th century.

The armory was built between 1642 and 1645 as a storehouse of armaments for defense against the Ottoman Empire. Wooden ceilings, floors and wall panels have perfectly preserved the exhibits from rust through the centuries.

More than 3,300 armor and helmets, 7,800 firearms and rare sets of horse armor used in tournaments and parades can be admired here.
