Description

The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is a world-class art gallery in the heart of Madrid, part of the famous 'Golden Triangle of Art'.

The collection includes more than 1,600 works of European painting from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, presented in a chronological arrangement to trace the evolution of Western art.

Among the exhibits are masterpieces by such masters as Dürer, Raphael, Titian, Rubens, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Picasso and Hopper. The museum is famous for its extensive collection of Impressionism, Fauvism and German Expressionism.
