Description
The Tring Museum of Natural History is a unique place with a fascinating history dating back to 1889, when it was built for Baron Rothschild's private collection.
The museum impresses with six galleries full of extraordinary animal specimens, including extinct species like the quagga and the sack wolf. A special attraction is a hybrid foal of a zebra and a horse bred by the Baron himself!
There is an interactive Discovery Room especially for the little ones, and history buffs will appreciate the Rothschild Room recreating the original environment where the famous family worked.
