Description
The Museum of Natural History of Slovenia is one of the oldest cultural and scientific institutions in Slovenia.
Visitors can admire impressive exhibits, including a nearly complete skeleton of a woolly mammoth discovered in 1938 and a 210-million-year-old fish skeleton from the Triglav mountains. The symbol of the museum is Sigmund Zois' collection of minerals presented according to modern classification methods.
It is an excellent place for both young explorers and natural science enthusiasts. The museum offers interactive exhibitions and educational activities that provide a fascinating insight into the richness of Slovenian biodiversity.
