Museu Bíblic Tarraconense

Museu Bíblic Tarraconense is a fascinating museum in Tarragona that will take you on a journey through 23 centuries of history.

Here you will find a rich collection of archaeological, literary and artistic artifacts illustrating Judeo-Christian culture. A special attraction is a well-preserved air raid shelter from the Civil War (1937-1939).

The museum extends 10 meters below street level and is divided into two levels. The Tarracròpolis interpretive space allows visitors to learn about the historical evolution of upper Tarragona and the House of the Council. It is the ideal place for lovers of history, culture and religion.
