Description

The Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania is one of the oldest and most important ethnographic institutions in Romania, founded in 1922.

The museum has an impressive collection of more than 50,000 exhibits illustrating the daily life, traditions and customs of Transylvania's rural population.

The biggest attraction is the Romulus Vuia Park, Romania's first open-air museum established in 1929, where you can admire 13 traditional farms with 90 buildings, 34 rural technical installations, 5 workshops and 3 wooden churches.
