Description
Yr Ysgwrn is a historic stone house in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, converted into a fascinating museum.
It is the former home of Hedd Wyn, a famous Welsh poet who died during World War I. Restored to its early 20th century appearance, the interiors allow you to immerse yourself in Welsh culture and learn about the poet's moving story and the impact of the war on local communities.
There is an exhibition dedicated to Hedd Wyn, as well as the iconic Black Armchair - a powerful symbol of the generation of young men who fought and died during the war. A great place for history and literature lovers.
