The Museum of English Rural Life

The Museum of English Rural Life is a fascinating place where the history of the English countryside comes alive before your eyes.

More than 25,000 exhibits, including farm implements, machinery and livestock portraits, tell the story of rural England from 1750 to the present.

Nine interactive galleries allow you to immerse yourself in themes of identity, environment and technology. Children will enjoy games and activities both inside the museum and in the beautiful garden, where they can relax and have a picnic.
