Description
The Grange at Northington is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in Europe. Originally built in the 1760s as a Palladian-style palace, it was transformed in the early 19th century into a neoclassical residence reminiscent of a Greek temple.
The impressive façade with its Doric portico delights architecture lovers, and the extensive gardens provide the perfect backdrop for this historic building. The site is famous for its summer opera festival, which takes place in a specially built theater in the conservatory.
This unique combination of history, architecture and culture makes The Grange an unforgettable experience.
