Palace House

Palace House is the former gatehouse of the medieval Beaulieu Abbey, transformed into an impressive Montagu family residence. This Victorian palace impresses with its Gothic elements and rich history dating back to 1538.

The interiors hide themed rooms full of family treasures and portraits, including the Heraldic Room and the Motor Room. During school vacations, you can see a chef preparing food in the restored Victorian kitchen.

The palace is part of the Beaulieu complex, which also includes the National Motor Museum with more than 285 vehicles and the Secret Army Exhibition on intelligence activities during World War II.
