Description
Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is a unique art museum in Copenhagen, founded in 1897 by the son of the founder of the Carlsberg brewery.
The museum is famous for its impressive collection of ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman art, as well as modern sculptures by masters such as Auguste Rodin and Edgar Degas.
The conservatory with its tall palm trees, fountain and fish pool creates a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Painting enthusiasts will appreciate the extensive collection of Impressionist works, including paintings by Monet, Renoir and van Gogh.
