Description

The Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History is a fascinating place for nature and science lovers in the heart of Bucharest.

The impressive collection of more than 3 million exhibits includes animal specimens, minerals and fossils. Most impressive are the life-size mammoth and whale skeletons.

The museum also offers live specimens of reptiles and arachnids, an added attraction. Well-organized dioramas showcase a variety of habitats from around the world, and descriptions in English and Romanian make the exhibits easy to understand.
