Description
The Museum - Kashubian Ethnographic Park named after Teodora and Izydor Gulgowski in Wdzydze is the oldest open-air museum in Poland, founded in 1906.
On 22 hectares it gathers more than 50 historic buildings from the 17th-20th centuries, including Kashubian cottages, windmills, churches and craft workshops.
During the walk you can admire the traditional furnishings, participate in demonstrations of ancient crafts like pottery and blacksmithing, and even try these skills yourself.
The annual Wdzydze Fair on the third weekend of July is one of the largest folk art fairs in Pomerania.
