Museum of Free Derry

Museum of Free Derry is a unique museum dedicated to the history of the civil rights movement in Derry in the 1960s and 1970s.

Multimedia exhibitions present key events such as the Battle of Bogside, Bloody Sunday and Operation Motorman, told from the perspective of the local community.

The archive contains more than 25,000 artifacts donated by local residents, making the site an authentic testament to the struggle for freedom and equality. Interactive computer stations and recordings of witnesses to events available in several languages provide an in-depth understanding of Northern Ireland's complex history.
