Description

The Kujawsko-Dobrzyn Ethnographic Park in Klóbka is a fascinating journey back in time to the former Kujawy and Dobrzyn villages.

The open-air museum has collected more than 40 objects, including 17 original buildings from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Here you can admire traditional craft workshops: blacksmith shop, oil mill, pottery and windmill.

The gem of the park is the 19th-century mansion of the Orpiszewski family, where Maria Wodzińska - Frederic Chopin's only official fiancée - lived. The interiors of the mansion have been recreated to reflect the atmosphere and life of that era.
