Koh Lanta Community Museum

Koh Lanta Community Museum is a fascinating place that takes you back in time, showcasing the island's rich history and culture. The museum is housed in a historic former district office building from the time of King Rama V.

Exhibits showcase the traditional lifestyles of the locals, the fishing industry and Old Town's history as a trading port. Here you will learn about the unique traditions of the island's diverse communities - the Urak Lawoi (Sea Gypsies), Thai-Chinese and Muslims.
