Description
The International Newspaper Museum is a fascinating place dedicated to the history of newspapers and journalism. Founded in 1886 by mayor and private scholar Oscar von Forckenbeck, the museum has an impressive collection of more than 200,000 copies of newspapers from around the world.
In one of Aachen's oldest buildings, visitors can enjoy a unique collection of first and last editions of newspapers, anniversary editions and banned publications that document the evolution of print media over the centuries.
The museum also offers interactive attractions, such as paper-making workshops, that provide hands-on learning about the history of printed media.
