Description

Danish Architecture Center is a fascinating place for design and architecture lovers in the heart of Copenhagen.

The center offers a variety of thematic exhibitions showcasing the latest architectural trends and works by leading Danish architects. The permanent exhibition 'So Danish!' takes you on a journey through the history of Danish architecture from Viking times to the present day.

An unusual attraction is the 40-meter spiral slide that crosses four floors of the building. The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view of the harbor and the city's cultural district.

avatarGregory Van Hinsbergha week agoJust go to the cafe at the top. The cakes were on a different level to everything available in Copenhagen (a big surprise) from the exquisite to the devine. A perfect match for our palate, long flavoursome and fruity. Splash the cash here and you will not be diasppointed. Under 18s go in free. One of only a few public spaces with good washroom facilities for the not so able, and they were immaculate, well done.
avatarlee songme2 months agoSo small, confusing structures. There is not so much content to enjoy. You can read those instructions with the guidebook. Cafe view was good, though. However you can enjoy the view everywhere outside.
avatarMelanie Mengüş2 months agoA very modern museum about the history of architecture in Denmark. However the museum was smaller than what I was expected and not very interactive either. It was a lot of things written on signs. It was very interesting and I learned many things about why the architecture is so modern in Denmark. But I was expecting more! Maybe I’m not the public for this kind of museum. But if you’re really into modern architecture then you should like it. There’s also a huge slide that you can use to go from the top to the bottom of the museum. It is a bit scary so I haven’t tried but it’s free with your entry ticket.
