Dresden City Museum

Dresden City Museum is a fascinating journey through eight centuries of Dresden's history. The museum is housed in the historic Landhaus building, offering more than 1,800 m² of exhibition space with over 1,000 exhibits.

See an impressive model of the Elbe Valley and a huge aerial photograph of the city. Multimedia installations and interactive exhibits explore the cultural, economic and political aspects of Dresden's development.

The collection includes some 200,000 photographs and postcards, as well as exhibits related to daily life, fashion, music and military.
