Description
West Berkshire Museum is a fascinating place located in two historic buildings: 17th-century Cloth Hall and 18th-century Granary.
The museum presents a permanent exhibition, 'Lives and Landscapes', which depicts the development of the West Berkshire region from geological formations to modern times. On the second floor are galleries with special exhibitions of art, archaeology and local history.
There are interactive elements for families, including an augmented reality guide for children, as well as workshops and themed trails. Admission is free, although donations are welcome.
