Galeria Narodowa

The National Gallery is Slovenia's main art museum, displaying an impressive collection of works from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.

The collection includes nearly 600 works by Slovenian and European artists, including medieval sacred art, Baroque works and masterpieces of Slovenian Impressionism.

One of the most valuable exhibits is the monumental Fountain of the Three Rivers of the Land by Francesco Robba, originally located in front of City Hall. The gallery's modern glass wing, designed by the Sadar + Vuga architectural firm, is a perfect blend of history and modernity.
