Arter is a modern contemporary art museum in Istanbul that impresses with an impressive collection of more than 1,400 works by some 400 artists, including such notables as Joseph Beuys and Sophie Calle.

The spacious interiors designed by Grimshaw Architects offer not only exhibitions, but also performance rooms, a library, an art bookstore and a bistro.
