Description
The La Gomera Archaeological Museum is a fascinating place housed in a historic 18th century mansion known as Casa Echeverría. The collection of more than 21,000 artifacts allows you to immerse yourself in the prehistory and culture of the island's indigenous Gomeros.
Four thematic rooms present the geographic and historical context, handicraft creations, anthropology and the beliefs and symbolism of the ancient inhabitants. The courtyard features 68 original artifacts and five reconstructions.
This is the ideal place for history and archaeology enthusiasts who want to learn about the unique cultural heritage of the Canary Islands.
