Description

9/11 Memorial & Museum is a moving tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center.

Two impressive reflecting pools of nearly an acre each are located on the exact spot where the twin towers stood. They are surrounded by white oak trees, including the famous Survivor Tree - a pear tree that survived the attacks.

The museum, located 21 meters underground, displays more than 10,000 artifacts, including destroyed emergency vehicles, fragments of the WTC structure and recordings of survivors and rescuers. The exhibits combine personal stories with interactive technology to create a unique history lesson.
