Description

The Museum of the Royal Houses is a historical treasure dating back to the 16th century. Commissioned by the Spanish crown in 1511, the building served as the administrative headquarters of the colonies in America.

The museum displays fascinating artifacts, including Taíno objects, ceramics and treasures excavated from sunken ships. You'll also find an impressive collection of weapons, from samurai swords to medieval armor.

The architecture, which combines Elizabethan Gothic and Renaissance plateresco styles, provides the perfect backdrop for dramatic, heritage-inspired photography.
