"Moskovits" Palace

The Moskovits Palace is an architectural gem of Oradea, stunning in its Munich Art Nouveau style. The building is distinguished by its intensely blue facade decorated with rich floral motifs and symbolic details such as the Tree of Life and Mercury's scepter.

The recently restored palace, designed by Kálmán Rimanóczy Jr. is one of the most beautiful examples of the 'Lilienstil' style in the region. Its unique structure includes basements, high store floors and galleries surrounding an inner courtyard.

It is a real treat for lovers of architecture and photography, especially in the evening, when the illumination highlights the ornamental details.
