Monkey Trail, Ao Nang

Monkey Trail, Ao Nang is a scenic trekking trail about 450 meters long, leading from Ao Nang Beach to Pai Plong Beach. The trail winds through a tropical forest, offering breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea and surrounding limestone cliffs.

The main attraction of the trail is the wild macaws that can be seen along the bamboo platforms and wooden steps. The trail is well-marked and well-maintained, though steep in places, which adds a bit of adrenaline to the trip.

It is advisable to bring water, snacks and comfortable shoes with good traction. Remember not to feed the monkeys and protect your belongings from their curious paws!
