Description

Mirador Roque Nublo is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Gran Canaria. This 80-meter-high volcanic rock, formed some 15 million years ago, sits at 1,813 meters above sea level and was a place of worship for the island's indigenous Guanche people.

The name 'Roque Nublo' means 'Rock of Clouds,' which perfectly reflects its character - it is often shrouded in mist and clouds.

The easy 3.1-mile trail provides unforgettable views of the Tejeda caldera, pine forests and the ocean. There are also other fascinating rock formations nearby, such as Roque Bentayga and 'Frog' (Roque La Rana).
