Mirador de los Roques

Mirador de los Roques is a unique viewpoint located in Garajonay National Park on the island of La Gomera. It offers breathtaking views of the spectacular rock formations of Los Roques, including Roque de Agando, Las Lajas, Carmona, Zarcita and Ojila.

These volcanic structures, shaped by erosion over millions of years, had religious significance for the indigenous Guanche people - they used them as places of worship.

The site also features a touching memorial to the 20 people who died in the tragic forest fire on September 11, 1984.
