Description
Wat Tham Suea is a fascinating Buddhist temple known as Tiger Caves, located on top of a 309-meter mountain in Krabi.
Established in 1975 by a monk who discovered tigers living in the cave while meditating. The most distinctive feature is the 1,260 stairs leading to the top, where there is an impressive golden Buddha statue.
From the top, there is a breathtaking view of the Andaman Sea and the surrounding countryside. While climbing, watch out for mischievous monkeys that may try to steal your shoes or socks!
